Reports and Parent Conferences
Dear parents,
We hope that you
all enjoyed the Eid holiday. Next week, we will be
issuing Quarter One Report Cards and holding Parent
Conferences. Reports will be sent home with your child
on Wednesday 23rd November. Parent
conferences will be held on Wednesday 23rd
November from 6-30pm to 8-30pm and Thursday 24th
November from 10am to 3-30pm
There is
therefore no school on Thursday for students, but we
request pupils from grades 4 to 9 to attend the
conferences with their parents. Parents will be
allocated a 15 minute time slot with homeroom teachers
and 10 minutes with all other subjects. We hope that you
will take the time to come and meet with your child’s
teachers to discuss his / her progress to date. We would
also respectfully ask that you make every effort to meet
on time as the teacher’s schedule is busy. Please note
that we are unable to provide translation.
If you
have a preferred date and time, please fill in the form
at the bottom of the letter and / or contact your
child's teacher and we will do our best to accommodate
your preferences. Should you be unable to attend on
either day, please call the school office to make an
appointment at your convenience.
In
addition we are inviting parents to a Reading Workshop
from 9am to 9-45am on Thursday 24th November.
Many parents have asked how they can help their child at
home. Here is the opportunity to find out! The workshop
is mainly aimed at parents who have students in grades
one and two, but all are welcome.
