International Book Month will be from
November 13th to
December11th. There will be many
activities during the month. Each class
has chosen a country to research.
Stories from that country and many
others will be read during the month.
Classes will be read to as well as
spending quiet time reading to
themselves for both information and
pleasure. On November 16 and 17 there
will be an Arabic and English Book Fair
for parents and students. Students will
take part in Poetry reading (Arabic) and
book/character presentations (English or
Arabic). There will be a Spelling Bee
(G1-9) and also a general knowledge
contest (G6-9).
